This is from a new series of work by Linda Haggerty. It is a body of work that is inspired by the joy filled experience and endless fascination of looking into an ever changing world of dancing, colorful shapes and patterns that illicit a sense of being in perpetual motion. A stoneware vessel thrown by James Haggerty and decorated by Linda Haggerty, using multicolored vitreous engobes, with the sgraffito technique, and a gold glaze that’s fired in reduction.
