EW THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT COMING TO OUR STUDIO:

 


* Classes are first come first serve.


* Our Studio can be chilly, so dress in layers and wear
comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.


* Clay is easier to work with if you have short,
trimmed fingernails.


* Long hair should be tied back.


* Please leave rings, watches, bracelets,
and long necklaces at home.


* We have lockers available for you to use.
If you want a lock, bring your own.

* Parking can be tight in our neighborhood,
so carpooling is encouraged.

 

 

 

 

STUDIO POLICIES:

 

* Wheel classes can accommodate up to 6 students.



* Handbuilding classes can accommodate up to 8 students.

 

* Children under 18 need to be accompanied
and supervised by a responsible adult.

 

* All work will be available to be picked up
at our Studio 2 weeks after the date of your class.
We are sorry, but due to space constraints,
we are unable to hold on to work for more than 30 days.
All unclaimed work will be discarded after 30 days.

 

* No refunds on missed or cancelled classes.
Please reschedule 2 days prior to the class.

THE MAGIC OF MASK MAKING

(6-8 Students)

Time: 3 hours

Fee: $55.00

Have fun creating your own decorative clay mask and revealing your alter ego!

Students will learn basic hand-building skills, such as: rolling out clay slabs, using slump molds, attaching clay with the slip and score method, sculpting, and surface decorating techniques, including, painting with colored engobes, using stamps, textures, and the sgraffito method.

 

 

 

 

DESSERTS AND CLAY

(6-8 Students)

Time: 2 1/5-3 hours

Fee: $55.00

This class is both yummy and fun!

Bring a dessert to share, enjoy a variety of complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, and fun creating a hand-built candy or dessert bowl.

Students will learn basic hand-building skills, such as: rolling out clay slabs, using slump molds, attaching clay with the slip and score method, sculpting, and surface decorating techniques, including, painting with colored engobes, using stamps, textures, and the sgraffito method.

 

 

 

CREATING CLOCKS WITH CLAY

(6-8 Students)

Time: 2.5 - 3 hours

Fee: $65.00

You will have a such a fun time, and the hours will fly by like seconds, as you create your own ceramic wall clock out of clay.

Students will learn basic hand-building skills, such as: rolling out clay slabs, using slump molds, attaching clay with the slip and score method, sculpting, and surface decorating techniques, including, painting with colored engobes, using stamps, textures, and the sgraffito method.

We will clear glaze your clock, fire it, and provide and attach a quartz clock movement for you.
